Não é todo dia que se faz vinte anos de carreira e, para marcar a data, o Wilco realizará duas ações interessantes para os fãs.
A primeira delas será uma residência de seis noites no Teatro Riviera, localizado em Chicago, terra natal da banda. Por lá, acontecerá o Wilco Winterlude, especial onde a banda realizará seis shows oferecendo aos fãs diferentes setlists e passeando por todas as fases de sua carreira.
Além do motivo especial, as apresentações farão parte do Holiday Concert for The Kids e os fãs serão convidados a levarem brinquedos e livros para os shows. Todo o material arrecadado será doado para crianças e hospitais de Chicago.
Agora, se você não puder ir para Chicago em dezembro, você pode adquirir uma das duas coletâneas que a banda lançará. A primeira delas, intitulada Alpha Mike Foxtrot, contará com 77 faixas e reúne gravações inéditas, demos e versões ao vivo divididas em quatro CDs. A segunda coletânea, de nome What’s Your 20, contará com 38 faixas selecionadas dos oito álbuns de estúdio lançados pela banda entre 1995 até 2011.
