Após o anúncio da morte de Chris Cornell e as primeiras especulações apontarem para suicídio, exames médicos comprovaram que o cantor se enforcou na noite da última quarta-feira (17).
De acordo com a Associated Press, a causa da morte foi confirmada na tarde de hoje, após exames realizados em Detroit, cidade aonde Cornell estava após apresentação com o Soundgarden horas antes da morte.
Pela manha, a revista Variety já dava o suicídio como certo após publicar matéria na qual uma fonte dentro da Polícia teria confirmado que Chris foi encontrado com uma faixa enrolada em seu pescoço.
